What makes a good photograph? The idea, the composition, the camera and lens. But, as I learned, there is a lot more, like imagination and creative vision.

And, above all, the light – yes, I know it’s a cliche -, photography is writing with light But before ‘writing’ one has to look, and to look differently. At shape, at colour and atmosphere. At composition and, of course, light!

Said Dorothea Lange, welknown photographer: “The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to look without a camera”.
